Best pork chop of my life. It was like pork belly! The cornbread is divine. Same with the perfectly cooked cavatelli and its luxurious pesto sauce. Surprised how good the pairing the tartare was to the slightly crisped mint leaves.
The decoration and service are both excellent among all restaurants I visited for sure. Our server was quite attentive. The atmosphere was romantic. The cornbread and grilled cabbage were outstanding. While majority of the dishes were unique and fresh, they were not quite tasty to me. Overall, it is a fine dining that is worth a visit!
Excellent spot. Food and service were amazing. Would definitely go back again. We loved the black sea bass, the yellowtail, the squash, the cornbread and the walnut cake. Every dish was delicious.
Had a fantastic dinner at Field & Vine last night. Such a charming restaurant - lovely vibes, warm and attentive staff, and incredible food. They know flavors here, and it shows in every dish. The Cantaloupe Salad was a revelation: perfectly ripe, sweet, and juicy melon, with salty, acidic, and umami elements in flawless balance. The same can be said for the Heirloom Tomatoes dish. The crème fraîche panna cotta was genius, and the whole plate was outstanding - with so much weight resting on the quality of the tomatoes for it to work this well. They’re working with exceptional produce and ingredients, and this was evident in every dish. Without going dish by dish through everything we ate, I would just say that a few other outstanding dishes later, plus a round of delectable desserts and Field & Vine shot to the very top of my “Best of Boston” list, joining a small, elite group of restaurants. I’m mad I waited so long to go, and I have a lot of catching up to do. Don’t make my mistake - go now - you will love it!
Excellent meal and atmosphere. Went her for my partners birthday. Outstanding, friendly service, food was great, place is really cool, not loud but enough noise, nicely spaced tables despite being small. We loved it. The food tasted like food, you could taste all the subtlety of it. Bravo.
This definitely is a passion project worth trying and supporting. So much creativity & care. Fantastically priced. Service was top notch. Wine list was great. Food was excellent!! All around, it was a beautiful experience. I know they didn't make the Oysters, but, I don't know, I have never tasted oysters this good anywhere in the world. After dinner, the staff recommended the cocktail place behind the restaurant - not to miss.
Dreamy woodland atmosphere with fresh, light delicious dishes all made with local ingredients and served by a super-friendly staff! Cozy space that’s great for a date night. Menu appears seasonal so dishes here represent summer offering. We particularly enjoyed the beef tartare and chilled beets, but everything we tried was delicious, striking a nice balance in flavor and highlighting the fresh local ingredients.
Food was incredible, fresh, locally sourced. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend we had an amazing dinner! There was no cocktail or mock tail menu only wine available. Only thing I recommend would be back pillows for the booth tables.
Delivering vegetables and fresh produce with both simplicity and creative flair is no easy feat, yet this little gem earns an A+ for authenticity and boldness based off seasonal ingredients. The menu is refreshingly free of the trite, ubiquitous fare found at many restaurants. Service is attentive without being intrusive. The staff are observant, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged. Pro tip: Grab a seat at the chef’s counter so you can watch the magic unfold.
A wonderful meal in a cozy environment. The staff and kitchen were especially helpful with identifying any dishes with items I should avoid (while pregnant) and made a delicious change to the dressing on the pork belly dish (to avoid the raw egg in an aioli). I wish they had a few more NA options, but I also didn't ask, so maybe there is more than what's written on the menu. There is a delicious variety of homemade pickles offered as it's own dish and incorporated into others. My favorite dish of the evening was the pork belly, closely followed by the cornbread with miso butter and spicy pickles.
